A friend once said, “Love is the symbol of forever. The knowledge of this makes the sense of time nonexistent.” I thought this was so magnificent that I wanted to color it. Pomegranate shape and seeds allude to renewal and the infinite (who has counted the seeds in one single fruit?). Earth’s reflection in the eye poses the age-old question: is our universe a tiny piece of dust in an infinitely larger and unknown universe? All of this is contained in the enigmatic eye-shape of the peacock’s feather, as if to say, what is more mysterious and wondrous?
