This lovely matzah cover has three pockets to separate the three symbolic pieces of unleavened bread. A wet brush over dry blue dye created the subtle diagonal pattern of this hand painted silk. The Hebrew word “matzah” decorates the topside within a shape reminiscent of an ancient temple. Spirals and swirls add a note of joy – we are celebrating freedom!
