This handsome matzah cover has three pockets to separate the three symbolic pieces of unleavened bread. White lily flowers dance on one side of the cover. The Hebrew word “matzah” decorates the other side within a shape reminiscent of an ancient temple. Spirals and swirls add a note of joy – we are celebrating freedom!

During the Seder, the ceremonial meal of Passover, the middle matzah is broken, and one half, called the afikomen, is playfully hidden for the children to find later. A matching afikomen bag is included with this original, hand painted matzah cover.
